guest spot at brrrrockley market

on Saturday, with rosy cheeks, wooly socks and great excitement, we braved the cold along with the finest selection of fellow street foodies in London, and headed down to brockley market to sell our beloved gyoza.

Following A chilly week of hug-the-griddle-to-stay-warm trading, it was a bonkers freezing day, and were it not for the warmth and kindness of the brockley team and their faithful customers, measly snow and numb toes would have easily weeded out the weaker among us.

We had a most uplifting time and met some wonderful shoppers and traders. And dogs – this cold little sausage tried with all his might to put all four brakes on but his tiny legs were of no use. We showered him in love in compensation for his courage.

A giant luardos breakfast burrito and mother flipper burger kept us full and strong, and once home we gorged on out-of-this-world homemade charcuterie from Moons green – a surprisingly perfect accompaniment to our chilli la-yu miso soup.

Gurmetti: the magic box of surprises

Whenever we trade with the talented Mr gurmetti at kerb we are always amazed to see his dinky little Italian van open up like a jack in the box of foodie delights. Truly, he brings magic to the street.
